Missoula County Arrest Records

Missoula County arrest records are official documents containing information about the reasons an individual was taken into custody by a law enforcement agency. Under theMontana Criminal Justice Information Act (Mont. Code Ann. § 44-5-301), arrest records are public records to support transparency between the government and its citizens by providing access to them. That said, records under the deferral and dismissal category cannot be released to the public so access is generally limited to arrest and court information on felony and misdemeanor charges.

Per the Montana Criminal Justice Information Act, Missoula County arrest records generally include:

  • Individual's name and address
  • Alleged offenses and charges filed
  • Date and location of arrest
  • Agency that made the arrest
  • Custody status
